While we were in Utah we were able to spend time with the cousins. We typically try to make it over to the Dino-mine Park or the Dinosaur Museum while we are in town. This trip was the park with our cousins, which makes it so much better! We were able to spend a couple of hours there, thanks to a bag or pretzels, a bag of tootsie rolls and perfect weather.
At one point Seth came running over to me so excited he could barely talk because he had finally mastered the monkey bars. I had no idea he could even reach the bars so I was equally surprised by this momentous feat. Later as I was looking through the pictures his shirt caught my eye. I wish he was turned just a little so we could see that it is the same Pirates of the Caribbean shirt.
This picture of Josh was taken almost exactly two years before. Josh had just started kindergarten and we had traveled back to Utah to see his Grandma Fran. While we were in town I took the kids over to the park, which had just been completed, for a little downtime. While there I worked with Josh to help him make it across the monkey bars. I remember that it was sprinkling and I kept suggesting that we leave but Josh was determined to make it all the way across. He was just as excited and proud of himself as Seth was.
