I finally got chosen to spend a special birthday with one of my kids. I think Josh just felt bad for me because I had put in a lot of special plugs for myself ;) He was so excited that he was finally old enough to drive in the big cars at Legoland. That is one of those situations where there is one obnoxious kid that is not obeying any of the traffic rules and running into everyone, and I am grateful that it is not my kid this time.
I think we were able to go on every ride Josh wanted. We saw a couple of the 4-D movies. We found an Indiana Jones adventure where I took this fun picture of Mummy Josh. I even convinced Josh to try the Apple Fries...I think he is hooked!
We spent a solid hour in the big toy shop, picking the best toys! Did you know they make pink unicorn swords and shields. I assumed Josh would be excited to pick out legos (a giant lego set vs. the three little sets he chose.) He was and still is way more excited about the pirate hat, sword, and hook that he found.
I think he had a good day! I know I did. It was so fun to be with just Josh! He is a great kid. Happy 7th Birthday!!!

Love the mummy picture!!!!! Glad you were the chosen one... and isn't it so like Josh to bring presents home for siblings on HIS birthday!!! What a hero!!! Or was that you?
It is the right of passage to drive the big car at legoland!!! Glad he is accomplished!!!!
