Seriously...you ALL want to go home?

We thought it might be a nice idea to go to Oak Glen today with the kids. It is a 15 minute drive straight east. It seemed like it might be a cool day so I dressed the kids in long sleeve T-shirts and long pants, except Josh who is becoming a little more independent and decided he would wear the shorts he had on. I also grabbed jackets, just in case.

Wimpy Southern California kids...we got up there and it was a cool 45 degrees. The kids got out of the car and simultaneously started shivering and whining about how cold it was. Paul at one point even chimed in. I told them we could go home but they would all have to sit in their rooms with no TV or video games the rest of the day...grrrr! They all sucked it up and continued down the nice little hiking trail. Guess what, I was right, they warmed up and we had a nice time. Paul later claimed he felt bad because Josh was in shorts. Sure, likely story, I think he has acclimated to the So. Cal lifestyle too!
